'Storm System' swirls into the mix with a torrent of sweeping pads and brooding synth lines. Sultry vocals play off against the pads and set the tempo before the storm comes crashing in with waves of layered percussion and breaks that charge in while the techy bass stabs keep things rolling bouncing off the beat patterns perfectly. Newcomer Nuance on the flip side hails from the cold climate of Finland and you can almost hear the desolate freezing landscapes captured in sound-form on his debut track here; 'Tread'. From the icey intro pads, to the filmscore vocals, right through to the brooding menace of a bassline that creeps in, this track is all about capturing that dark cinematic vibe, and it does so gracefully. Nuance proves he can craft a great track with this outing, and with tunes like this, theres definitely no reason why you won't be seeing this name a lot more on 12" slabs of wax in your shops soon.
